3. Temporal Lobe

4. Parietal Lobe

The parietal lobe is located behind the frontal lobe. This section has an important role in interpreting messages from other parts of the brain.

The parietal lobe also plays a role in interpreting touch, body movement, temperature differences, and pain sensations. Fine motor skills that use the fingers, such as writing or painting, are also controlled by this part of the cerebrum.
