Public awareness of the dangers of borax is still minimal, because information about the dangers of using borax in food is also still limited. In fact, this ingredient has been used as a mixture in food for a long time.

Foods containing borax are not easy to identify. However, there are some characteristics of foods that contain borax, such as:

  • Color looks whiter
  • Bad smell
  • More durable or last for several days

The dangers of borax to he alth cannot be ignored, so you have to be careful in choosing the food you eat. When buying packaged food, read the product label and make sure the food is registered with BPOM.
