- Adults: 800 mg once daily, in combination with ritonavir 100 mg.
- Children aged 3–17 years weighing 15–<30 kg: 600 mg once daily, in combination with ritonavir 100 mg.
- Children aged 3–17 years weighing 31–39 kg: 675 mg once daily, in combination with ritonavir 100 mg.
- Children aged 3–17 years weighing over 40 kg: 800 mg once daily, in combination with ritonavir 100 mg.
Patients who have already undergone treatment
- Adults: 600 mg, 2 times daily, in combination with ritonavir 100 mg.
- Children 3–17 years weighing 16–29 kg: 375 mg 2 times daily, in combination with ritonavir 48 mg.
- Children 3–17 years weighing 31–39 kg: 450 mg 2 times daily, in combination with ritonavir 60 mg.
- Children 3–17 years weighing over 40 kg: 600 mg 2 times a day, in combination with ritonavir 100 mg.
How to Take Darunavir Correctly
Follow the doctor's advice and read the information on the medicine package before taking darunavir. Do not reduce or increase the dose without consulting your doctor first.
Darunavir can be taken with food. Try to take darunavir at the same time every day for maximum treatment.
Keep taking this medicine even if you feel well. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with the help of a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet.
If you forget to take darunavir, it is recommended to take it immediately if the gap between the next consumption schedule is not too close. If it's close, ignore it and don't double the dose.
